Privacy Policy

How we handle information in the NMhelper school strength app (web and Android).

Effective date: 5 June 2025

1. Introduction

NMhelper helps schools record daily class strength (boys and girls per division). Authorized staff sign in with a school account. The app can work offline and sync when the internet is available.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data — name and username for heads, teachers, and admins. Passwords are stored hashed on our servers.
  • Class strength — boys/girls counts per division and school settings (such as class limits) set by your administrator.

We do not collect student names, photos, phone numbers, or device location.

3. Who can enter data

Only authorized school heads and teachers can add or change strength data. Your school admin controls accounts and access.

4. How we use data

Data is used for school administration and reporting only. We do not sell or share it with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

5. Children’s privacy

We do not build student profiles. Stored information is class-level counts, not individual student identity data.

6. Data security

We use sign-in tokens, hashed passwords, and secured hosting. Keep school login details private. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

7. Offline use and sync

Teachers may save strength while offline. Updates are held on the device and sent to our server when connectivity returns. Only strength-related data is queued.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this page. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of NMhelper means you accept the updated policy.
